Appointed to the role in January 2011, Rich is responsible for advancing Mitel’s evolution and leadership in the business communications market, driving revenue growth and profitability, and devising and executing business strategies.

With 27 years in the hi-tech and telecommunications sector, Steve Spooner has a wealth of experience in corporate finance, strategic business planning, and operational leadership.

As Chief Financial Officer for Mitel®, Steve has global responsibility for Finance, Operations, Legal, Information Technology, M&A, and Investor Relations. Steve’s experience includes roles as CEO, COO, and CFO of both emerging and established industry players, including tenures at Digital, Wang, SHL Systemhouse, CrossKeys Systems, Stream Intelligent Networks, and Wysdom.

Graham Bevington

Executive Vice President and Chief Sales Officer

Graham Bevington is Executive Vice President and Chief Sales Officer. He is responsible for worldwide sales operations.

Graham has been a pillar in Mitel’s sales organization for more than 15 years, since he joined Mitel as managing director in the UK. Since then, he has been responsible for Mitel’s growth and success in 3 of Mitel’s 4 regions, separately and together — EMEA, Asia Pacific, and Central and Latin America.

Executive Vice President and General Manager, Mitel Cloud Services

As the company’s Executive Vice President and General Manager, Mitel Cloud Services, Jon Brinton is responsible for leading Mitel’s Global Cloud initiatives, including our wholesale Powered by Mitel® Service Providers initiative and our retail Cloud business. His responsibilities also extend to leading Mitel’s US-based Communications Service Provider, Mitel NetSolutions Inc.

Thomas Lokar has more than 18 years of experience in the technology sector and brings to Mitel® deep expertise in organization effectiveness, talent management, and employee development at several Fortune 500 companies. As Chief Human Resources Officer, Tom is charged with guiding all elements of human resource management as the company grows its business globally, ensuring that Mitel remains a top-choice employer, with an exceptional workforce and a world-class workplace.

Wes Durow

Wes Durow

Chief Marketing Officer

Wes is a 20-year tech industry veteran with deep domain knowledge in cloud-based, real-time communications for both enterprises and service providers. He joins Mitel from Sonus Networks where, as Vice President of Global Marketing, he was responsible for all marketing activities globally as well as inside sales and training. Before joining Sonus, Wes was Chief Marketing Officer at Fonality, where he focused on accelerating the adoption of Unified Communications in a Software-as-a-Service model.

John P. McHugh

Director

John McHugh was appointed to the Mitel® board of directors on March 12, 2010. Mr. McHugh is an enterprise networking industry veteran with almost 30 years of related experience. Mr. McHugh is currently General Manager and Senior Vice President, Commercial Business Unit at NETGEAR, overseeing the development and delivery of networking and storage solutions for SMB customers.

Peter D. Charbonneau

Lead Director

Peter D. Charbonneau is a General Partner at Skypoint Capital Corporation, an early-stage technology venture capital firm, a position he has held since January 2001. From June to December 2000, he was an Executive Vice President of March Networks Corporation. He was appointed to the Mitel® board of directors on February 16, 2001.

Benjamin H. Ball

Director

Benjamin H. Ball is a Founding Partner of Francisco Partners Management, LLC, which is a leading private equity firm focused exclusively on investing in the information technology market. Mr. Ball focuses primarily on investments in the communications and hardware systems sectors. Mr. Ball was appointed to our board of directors on October 23, 2007. He also serves on the board of directors of Data Connection, Electrical Components International, WatchGuard and WebTrends.

David M. Williams

Director

Mr. Williams was appointed to the Mitel® board of directors upon the merger of Mitel and Aastra on January 31, 2014. He was previously Aastra’s Lead Independent Director and Chair of Aastra’s Compensation Committee.

Dr. Terence H. Matthews

Chairman of the Board

Sir Terence Matthews is the founder and Chairman of Wesley Clover International, an investment management firm and holding company. Since 1972, Terry has either founded or funded more than 100 companies, including Newbridge Networks, which went on to became a leader in the worldwide data networking industry. Before Newbridge, Terry co-founded Mitel in 1972, a current world leader in the design and manufacture of enterprise communications systems and software.

Sudhakar Ramakrishna

Mr. Ramakrishna was appointed to the Mitel® board of directors on May 14, 2015.  He is CEO and Board Member for Pulse Secure, where he oversees all aspects of business strategy and execution since July of 2015.  Sudhakar brings nearly 25 years of experience across the cloud, mobility, networking, security and collaboration markets.
